BackPrince's Trust - AJC provide apprentice buddy
AJC are currently working with CALA Homes in supporting the Prince's Trust by providing carpenters as apprentice buddies to young people looking for a new purpose in life.
Following a number of interviews with potential candidates, AJC selected two candidates for a two week placement at the Kings Barton development in Winchester. The candidates are now working under the watchful eye of Dave Light and Tom Mephan from AJC Carpentry.
Throughout the programme the participants experience a sense of achievement which inspires them to move forward with a new confidence and ambition. They develop a sense of purpose through working in a team and reconsider where they are going with their lives.
The Prince's Trust is a great youth charity doing fantastic work that AJC are proud to support.
