Lands End to John O'Groats

AJC is sponsoring Site Manager Jamie Dunn (Cala Homes), to complete a charity bike ride from Lands End to John O' Groats on 20th July to 1st August 2019.

Land's End to John o' Groats is the traversal of the whole length of the island of Great Britain between two extremities, in the southwest and northeast. The traditional distance by road is 874 miles (1,407 km) and takes most cyclists 10 to 14 days; the record for running the route is nine days. Off-road walkers typically walk about 1,200 miles (1,900 km) and take two or three months for the expedition. Two much-photographed signposts indicate the traditional distance at each end.

Jamie will be fundraising for Mind - The Mental Health Charity with his friend Miguel Cassey.

Their cycle ride will consist of 1000 miles over 12 days and Jamie will be supported by his wife Leah who will be the support driver, chef and will be setting up camp each night for them. They will be camping each night to reduce costs!

If you would like to donate to their fundraising page, you can find out more here: https://www.justgiving.com/fun...

AJC want to wish Jamie and Miguel all the best with their charity bike ride this summer!
